What does the Civil War have to do with science? Explain in two to five sentences

  2. There were many science advances during the Civil War. There were breakthroughs in how weapons were made, how transportation work especially in trains and the way tracks were laid. Also in the way food was kept in cans. Can goods went from 5 million a year to 30 million during the civil war. There was also advances in medicine to heal wounds in faces.
